Valentine Treasure's
This is the
fun Valentine
Treasure I have
been working on
all week. {In between
a birthday, sick
kids, and our exciting
news about our new grandbaby.} This heart shaped box is packedwith goodness! Repro's of
vintage valentines, an old bottle all romanced, a lot of favorites here.
We will be using melted wax, glimmer mist, vintage jewels, spools, and micro beads in the wax and on and on. This project will definetely get you thinking out of the box. With layers and layers of fun! I will be teaching this class @ Mystic Paper January 30 from 12-4 p.m.

IT'S A GIRL!!!!~
The BIG DOGS 16th BIRTHDAY!!!~
The "BIG DOG" is the name his dad gave him. I wonder why???? He keeps growing and growing.
He is the best kid ever!!! If I could buy him a brand new car of his choice for his 16th b-day I would do it in a second. Of anyone I know he deserves it sooo much!!!!~ Since I can't do that I don't have to worry wether he would turn into a monster if I did that or if it was the right thing or not. Ha ha
We celebrated his birthday as a family on Sunday night and had a great time. He wanted stuffed hamburgers for the meal. They are these enormous hamburgers stuffed with bacon and cheese or mushroom and Swiss. They are good but they are HUGE!!!! He doesn't like chocolate so I made a 4 layered cake with confetti and yellow cake and it was really good! {especially not having chocolate..... }
I love this kid! He has always been a momma's boy and would admit it to this day! I am so proud of him!!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUSTIN~

Love Potion Mini Album~
I made this fun Valentine's book from scratch. Using vintage book covers, a Paris file that I altered and this fun line of Pink Paislee paper Cupid Collection. I also used the canvas patches and rub-ons in the line. This mini album is packed with die cuts, ribbons and lace, many found objects, vintage game pieces, and of course "BLING." This album has many pockets for love notes collected along the way or for tucking secret notes into if you are giving it away to that special someone. There is a lot of room for photos, quotes, or special little messages. I used some fun Tim Holtz masks and even used the sewing machine in a few places. {But if you are allergic to sewing like I used to be everything can be finished with adhesive} so.... NO WORRIES!!!!~
My daughter Dana REALLY wants this album for Valentine's Day and bet me that she could get her hubbie to take the class and make it for her. I am betting NO WAY!!!~ ESPECIALLY when he could convince his mother-in-law to make it for him. What do you think???
He's pretty creative but not much of the arts and crafts type so we will watch and see!
This is going to be a great class! I am taking it to Mystic Paper today so I will update my class schedule soon!
