PRESCOTT OR??? PRESCITT

Above are some of the fun finds from our Antique shopping trip
to Prescott. It is spelled that way but I guess if you are a local
it is pronounced Prescitt???? Hmmmm I think I like Prescott better.
What an awesome little town! Very much like Jackson Hole or
Park City. But packed with the most fun Antique stores.
Below are my favorite treasures of the day.
A charming little album book for kids. This will be fun to alter.
Then the best find I think a quilt hand cut and startedby
someone and was never finished. There are pieces that still need
stitched. But what is already stitched is about as big as a baby quilt.
(makes me wonder how many unfinished projects
they will find when I am no longer here)

I love old signs! They are so cool!

The photo below is for Dana. I wanted to show

her some of the cool old furniture she needs to pick

up for photo shoots!!!!

OK...better get going! I have about a million projects

to finish up before this week is up.

(LET ALONE BEFORE I DIE...YIKES!!!)

MORE FUN STUFF, FUN FRIENDS, FUN DAY

More cool old signs,
love love love the bathtubs.....
Cute friends aren't they????
Holly, Ellen, Chris, Lola, and Donna
Lola is actually behaving herself in this one....
What's up with that????
Fun Day you guys!!!!
I love old hats!
They remind me of my Grandma!
When we were little the best day ever
was when Grandma would get down her
hat boxes. We would pull the hats out so carefully
and put them on. She had old gloves, dresses, and frocks that
we would dress up in. It was the best. But the best part
was that they were very special to her and she shared
them with me and my sisters! She loved us so much!

My UTAH JAZZ

My heart is heavy today as I found out that Utah Jazz owner
Larry Miller passed away on Friday afternoon. Reading the
articles over the internet reminded me of so many fun days
in Utah. Whether we were at the games or at home watching
the games... the Utah Jazz have been a big part of our life.
Larry Miller definetely added his own flavor to the excitement.
It always wasn't the best side of him we would see, but he
definetely showed his team spirit (if you know what I mean). I
love that he bought the Jazz and kept them in Utah. What a fun
thing The Jazz have been in my life!!! So, a special "thank you"
Larry Miller. You will be missed!!!

Everything seems to be pink....

Every "little" project that I work on around here seems to be "pink"....couldn't be the inspiration that I get from the little bundle sleeping in "her" swing right now. She is 3 months old now....oh my favorite baby age of all time. "She" will still snuggle, but "she" smiles and giggles, and coos. Ooooh and "she" gives kisses now....oh my gosh "she" is the cutest little thing ever!!! The top photo is a 12x12 layout I did for my srapbook. The first one for 2009, pretty sad. But, hey one is better than none right??? The next 3 pics are a sneek peek of a mini album I am creating. I am almost done. I should be taking it in to Mystic Paper tomorrow to get a class scheduled. It will also be there for you to take a look at. It is turning out so "darling". I am using reproductions of a vintage card game with the "sweetest" little animal baby faces on them. There are tons of quotes and vintage buttons and lace. So sweet....and even though every "little" thing is "pink" at my house I will also have a "baby blue" version available for the class or kits. You are welcome to e-mail me or leave a comment if you are interested. suzettericks@yahoo.com also check out Mystic Paper's blog spot at the right for the class date's new product and more....
